Our club is supporting the Comprehensive Education Reinforcement Program of Casa Visitacion (Proyecto Integral del Reforzamiento Escolar or PIRE) in Honduras. This program provides professional educational, psychological and medical services, as well as recreational activities, holistic dynamics, educational materials, and nutritious snacks to children in first to sixth Grades struggling in school who come for consultation at their psychology clinic or are referred by teachers from schools with which they collaborate. Many of the students are suffering from PTSD due to the violence in their families and communities.  Per capita, Honduras is #1 for murders in the world. Children on the program are flourishing with the extra help. Please see photos on the link to the right.
