Pedicabs for Typhoon Yolanda Victims

Our club, along with Rotary clubs of Weymouth, Naga, and Tacloban, and Bicol Bestrade Sales Center Inc. have contributed funds for disaster relief for those affected by typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). We will be purchasing 15 pedicabs. Pedicabs are bicycles fitted with side cars used for public transportation, especially in areas not covered by buses or jeepneys and in remote areas. All pedicabs will be marked with the Rotary and Bicol logos. Pedicab recipients will remit a portion of their revenue to fund new pedicabs for distribution.
