We are pleased to announce an exciting collaboration between Rotary International and Cure Alzheimer's Fund. The two organizations are working together to co-sponsor research into why women are at higher risk of developing Alzheimer's disease than men - an underfunded yet vital area of investigation. This work will be carried out by Rudy Tanzi, Ph.D., at Massachusetts General Hospital.

We hope this will be the start of many collaborations with organizations working to eradicate diseases such as Alzheimer's on a global scale. We are especially excited about the content of this study, which promises to provide significant insight into Alzheimer's disease and get us closer to effective treatments for both men and women.
